Christmas 2009

great way this year to countdown and spend my eve meaningfully...
had a great game of badminton just now and rushed home get ready for church... tho it was amazingly shocking to come back and see my neighbour getting whacked by his infuriated friend with a big hollow pipe smashing him in the face and destroying his car screaming and shouting... tho it was totally nerve wrecking and awful to watch, i went to church in shock but i managed to calm down and everyone was there celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ and partly, me!
by the time the clock hit 12, i was filled with messages, calls and handshakes... what a wonderful day it is...

for everyone out there, MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR...

*Happy Birthday to Me....!*

San Xiao 6blue class Reunion dinner

it is this very day, 21st dec 2009, i attended my primary school reunion dinner at HOLLYWOOD steamboat centre situated opposite boulevard shopping mall...

it has been a dashing five years since primary 6, faster than a blink of an eye, that we have this reunion dinner... Well, out of the 50+ students of my class 6 blue, around half of everyone attended this dinner... not complete enough to have me struck in nostalgia, but totally complete enough to cheer ant fill up the empty space in my heart that has been there since the day i left chung hwa primary school no:3 in 2004.

had my handy cam to capture everyone in the moment although not everyone is looking at the camera...the ladies right opposite my seat... all different faces from 5 years ago.

well this is the 2 ladies that didn't change much... easily recognizable...

the 3 tough guys out of 4... the guy on the left is not included because he is one of the guy's friend.

that is a combination of change and no change...

the ORGANIZER standing up and 2 other mates... all changed
it was a pity for the organizer as she was the hero of the night, roaming around as the treasurer, dealing with the bill of the meal.. thank you JIA ROO!

then there is the unchanged YEE WEI, the EDWARD CULLEN in the pic... Russell on the left and Cynthia (changed) on the right.

used to be the ping pong dudes... happy times... FYI, My school is famous for ping pong

the professional camera man is holding his BABY in a red bag...

all the happy smiles that is caught in the moment...

the ladies...

why is Audrey smiling herself and no one is paying attention to me?

the tough guys, acting tough for the camera... SNAP!!!

i have no comment for this pic...

this is how long and how many pots we used to feed our hunger... 6 large pots

clearer look at the pots...

well the things there for grilling ain't that bad... it is fairly tasty and they are good in their marinade for the meat...
they have a wide selection of shell fishes which is the shining point of this restaurant... non of other steamboat centres do i see mussels laying around up for grabs...
however, the price of the buffet would be great if it were to be a little cheaper... charging 20 bucks for each person is a bit too much as they do not provide any complementary drinks...

frankly speaking, i am not a big fan of a big rich meal full of succulent fatty meat, it makes me guilty towards my delicate digestive system... But the reunion was the most important part of the night and food is what could bring us together... this sweet memory has been created this night, and looking forward, i hope to have another reunion in a few years time at another place serving more healthy foods...

signing off for the blog that wasn't updated for a long long time

School 2009

No doubt it is a fun year in school 2009 despite the heavy pressure of the SPM examination...
they even have countdowns.... it is very scary...

not forgetting the happy times tho... ever since our form teacher Pn Su left us for her baby delivering on July, there came a new young teacher as her substitute which brought us alot of new priceless memories...

there's a picture of that teacher i was talking bout... Miss Elaine Tang Tian Mei, Mouse of 1984
her picture taken at I-BELL studio... well some people stated that she have the GARFIELD face... true enough that she has a plumb, blush and cute looking face... Nevertheless, she was the one taking up the big responsibility to teach us our Bio chapter 4 as our Pn Su ignored to teach us that chapter... it was all about reproduction...and also sexually transmitted disease...

then there was the happy but tiring photoshoot at jacky studios...
we had to do poses like ^^^^ that to get a picture like this...>>
as it was super tiring, we end up with a fabulous group picture...
but we had the chance to have some vain pictures like this...

In school... we have moments like this... which is very hard for the teachers to teach as my class were the most popular in the aspect of noise and incontrollability....

a quick view of my class...my vandalized table... by some fucker of the afternoon session...
well forget my vulgar words... the view of my class...everyone in their own world.... like the most attractive, hot 'couple'...
James and Gladys...
then there's the chatter side of our Iban ladies...the money and political side of the class.. (not including the ladies...)the fabulous and glamorous Ruby and Yun + toughest guy Leon - the Lionthen there's the more Chinese side... with Big Wayne and the ladies... Ling10 and Mrs "LEbron James"

everyone with their own gang and in their world... typical class...

then there's miss Tian Mei (sweet and beautiful) looking annoyed with the video taking i was taking..
shot 1
shot 2
Tian Mei's Smile!!! shot 3

there's the book bank of the class... there is a whole bunch of sugar and tea bags during normal school days in the green tray... but it's near the hols, so it became less...and our specialty, the half sided notice board... Half of the late Michael Jackson and Half of the Malaysian Badminton Star Lee Chong Wei...
our class's label... 5 cekap = 5 CAKAPlong alley of the block... Ju Posing...

it's a valuable memory... i'm sure it would bring back lots of smiles in the future, after leaving the school...

especially this one...below...
video
i'm sure it'll be a great laugh for any reader here

Disappointment

Has anyone watched this particular movie?
it's our Malaysian dance movie, shot in Kuching... but as from my title, i am so very disappointed with the movie...

yes, it's very true that we cannot compare our Malaysian movie with something like
i am not comparing it with another movie.

the thing i'm very disappointed bout is about the description of the video. Although the drama and story line was quite well done as there was a twist at the end of the movie... Thing is, majority of the whole movie was shot in KUCHING ,SARAWAK.. But... in the movie, they call it KL by adding in some twin tower o monorail picture...

For people who doesnt know KL and Kuching, they won't notice a thing... On another side of view, it's a compliment that they call a small city of KUCHING as KL, but the obvious one that is shown in the movie is the image of Kuching being an UNDEVELOPED , JUNGLE VILLAGE city...
i'm very sure most of Kuching citizens would agree with me... It's very insulting that people don't know Kuching well and they hav the assumption that Kuching is filled up wit people who still live in trees, without clothes... i have met many 'friends' who have did that... "eh, Kuching? can shop meh? got internet o not?"

the movie just boosted up that particular assumption... No offence Hockstar Entertainment... i know that there are internal affairs concerning it too... but i'm jus expresing my disatisfaction...

compliments to the choreography of the dance... it was fabulous...
